Adults and identity verification

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and successfully complete the required government-ID and selfie check before purchasing or using member access. You may not create an account for another person or use false, altered, stolen, or borrowed identification. Verification confirms that an identity check was completed; it does not guarantee a member’s character, intentions, or conduct.

Founding Basic Membership — regional offer announced

The announced regional launch offer is Basic for $15 for 12 months, limited to the first 250 registrations in each of Alpena, Presque Isle, Alcona, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego, Iosco, Cheboygan, Crawford, Ogemaw, Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Wexford, Missaukee, Manistee, Roscommon, Clare, Gladwin, Midland, Saginaw, Shiawassee, Genesee, Livingston, Oakland, Wayne, Berrien, Van Buren, Allegan, Cass, St. Joseph, Kalamazoo, Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Clinton, Ingham, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Macomb counties in Michigan, with a total cap of 12,500. County registrations are counted when an account selects and confirms a participating county. Each account may register in one county only, and a full county cannot accept another registration. Existing accounts remain unassigned until they confirm their county. Counters show registrations and email confirmations separately, not paid members or independent verification of residency. County corrections require support; creating duplicate accounts or selecting a false county is not permitted. Purchases remain closed until these rules and merchant-payment checks are complete. Email verification, identity approval, and confirmed payment are required before profile creation and member access. The offer may be used once per eligible member account, cannot be stacked, has no free trial, and does not renew automatically. Access starts only after the payment provider confirms the exact payment connected to that account and ends automatically on the date shown in the account.

Optional Premium memberships — not yet on sale

Premium launch prices are $29.99 for two months or $49.99 for six months. These are separate optional memberships, not included in the $15 one-year Basic offer. Premium benefits, upgrade rules, and payment terms must be completed and published before purchase is enabled. Video chat and other unfinished Premium tools are not currently available. No Premium payment is accepted now.

Core member tools

Active members may create and publish a profile, upload up to 10 reviewed photos, discover compatible members, use age, distance, interest, and relationship-goal filters, send up to 20 standard likes per day, form mutual matches, exchange private messages of up to 1,000 words, and use block and report tools. Availability depends on eligibility, identity verification, profile completion, moderation status, compatible devices, and service readiness.

Optional one-time add-ons

Members with active access may separately purchase a 24-hour Profile Boost for $4.99, a 72-hour Extended Boost for $9.99, or five Super Likes for $2.99. Each Super Like is a single-use credit that makes the sender and any optional note visible to its recipient. Unused credits remain associated with the purchasing account unless the purchase is refunded, reversed, or lawfully revoked, but they can be sent only while that account has active membership. Add-ons do not extend membership, do not renew, and have no cash value. Other premium capabilities may be developed, but they are not for sale until their exact pricing and terms are published.

Member conduct

You may not use Kindred Spirits for harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, solicitation, escort or sexual services, trafficking, illegal activity, sexually explicit content, or attempts to evade age or identity controls. Recording, copying, or distributing another member’s photos or messages without permission is prohibited.

Safety, moderation, and enforcement

Photos may remain private while under review. We may limit visibility, remove content, suspend or close accounts, preserve relevant records, or revoke access to protect members, investigate reports or fraud, comply with law or payment-provider rules, and enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Payment does not excuse prohibited conduct.

Service availability

We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular number of members or matches, or that any interaction will lead to a relationship. Features may be delayed or unavailable while safety, moderation, payment, or reliability checks are incomplete. Kindred Spirits will not charge for a capability that is not offered for sale.
